I can definitely feel it - the gap's widening.
Seemingly distant from me, the pull advances to weaken.
As the end of 2007 draws near, it marks the prologue of the start of a brand new year,
A brand new day.
Many proceed with their own lives, adapting to the changes arising; A new environment,
different faces and all.
Will I be but a memory nudged aside in the corner of their minds, only to be recalled upon as
an assuagement to their boredom?

How much do they comprehend of it?
But i'll be here.
I won't be there when you want me.
But i'll be here when you need me.
I'll listen to your woes and i'll laugh with you.
And in return, all I ask of you is to watch the stars with me.
