Believe me, I'm not in the right state of mind to do a proper entry right now.
It's 3:32a.m in the midnight, and I just had six intense DotA matches with the ex-KPGs.
Not to mention how... brain-wrecking my day at DW was.
I just want to lie on my bed right now with my eyes shut and my mind secluded from all the affairs in the world.
But you know sometimes, you just want to voice out something - well, just... anything I suppose.
You just want to talk about stuff that's been going on around recently in your life... well maybe.
Maybe that's what compelled me to create this post, as much as I'd love to get some shut eye.
At this point of time, I can't really SAY with certainty that I'm a staff of DW.
Both Luis and I are rather skeptical of the whole job itself.
Well, okay.
After much persuasion and convincing, we decided to give it a try.
I mean, what the hell have we got to lose?
But the fact that they want us to make SALES from our family members and relatives?
Seriously, I just can't help thinking that we're dancing to their tune somehow.
I really don't want to think of it that way.
Miss Regene is such a nice lady, as is Miss Karen.
I wouldn't want to even think of them as some, con man trying to feign like they're providing us with a job when their ultimate motive is to get us to go around filling their pockets with stacks of money.
Actually, I don't.
But things aren't that simple.
Honestly, from what I understood from them, it seems that (okay it's actually a lot more than that but I'm just making things brief) it would be easier to communicate with family members, and as such it would be somewhat of a stepping stone for us.
If we show satisfactory performance (or sales, put in a more practical way), we'll get to deal with actual clients, have appointments and all.
Their explanation was just too vague, honestly speaking.
"Max, do you have any questions? Please, seriously, feel free to ask just about anything at all."
Oh, you want questions?
My entire mind is brimming with them.
Just that some things, no matter how people CLAIM that they will not be affected by it, or how they keep on prodding you to ask just for the mere sake of asking, it WILL somehow have an impact on that particular individual or the environment one way or the other.
That is the gravity, the power of language.
Something that not everyone would comprehend, I would say.
You know, I'm confident that whatever someone else can do, I can as well - if not, better than he/she can.
If I dedicate my heart and soul to it, that is.
I'm not concerned in the least bit on whether I am able to convince someone to purchase my products.
But the problem is, I definitely do not encourage and support the idea of promoting a $2.5k magnetic mattress to my family members or relatives.
It's EXACTLY as my cousin said.
It's like you actually instill a NEED in other people's lives when it was perfectly fine the way it originally was.
There're always needs and wants in this earth we dwell on.
I mean, what I'm trying to say is, YES, the mattress is definitely beneficial to the human body in many ways, and the change is there.
It's not a scam, we're not just attaching random magnets to the mattress and thereafter concocting and fabricating tales of how it miraculously heals any ailments or maladies overnight.
It is scientifically tested and proven - the technology of BioMagnetism IS THERE.
It exists, and it works.
So if you piece things together that way, that this product actually aids your health through several means, well then there isn't actually a problem.
But back to what my cousin had mentioned, they didn't even need it in the first place.
It's sort of like a personal err... whatever you call it, rights or something like that.
Can't quite put it into words, but you get what I mean.
I definitely don't assent to the idea of making sales out of family and friends.
I mean hey, I'm here to get myself paid.
What sense does it make for me to earn commission out of my own family - the company profits anyway.
Of course, I am trying my utmost to ACCEPT the other way of looking at the entire thing (what Miss Regene explained to me, that is).
That's definitely the biggest hurdle Luis and I have to overcome, something that can be accomplished by none other than us ourselves.
If we never ever manage to, then this job probably is out of our league.
But seeing as how almost every staff is so enthusiastic about us joining the company, I really can't fathom how I'm going to reject them on their offer.
Seriously, I'm beat.
This is actually the first time in my entire life that I had to don an entirely formal outfit with long-sleeved shirts and having to wear a tie to some... stupid office -.-
Besides, I had to sit with the senior staff and discuss about issues on whatever-marketing-shit-that-was-all-about from 2pm-6:45pm STRAIGHT - with no toilet breaks in between or any drinks to quench my thirst.
So you can imagine how tired I am right now.
Off to bed...
