Besotted.

Some things, you'll definitely accomplish much more by NOT placing yourself in the position of being pushed.
I have lost many an interest with the sole cause being that I'm trying too damn hard to improve.
When the pressure you inflict upon yourself gets overbearing, the occurence of flaring up and feeling frustrated for your incompetency poses as a significant factor in the deterioration of your capabilities.

Apparently, it's not all that hard to be able to tell that I'm not the sort of person who lives by the motto of "Winning is not everything".
Winning IS everything.
Though that would probably serve as a good explanation as to why I keep on losing.

Then again, whatever that is not perfect is deemed as a loss to someone such as I.
Which also leads to the notion that there's nothing capable of being triumphed in life, since there's bound to be someone better than you out there.

Being the richest man doesn't make you a winner.
Having the smartest brain doesn't make you a winner.
Being the most loved person on earth doesn't make you a winner either.
Etcetera, etcetera.

On occasions, it would be wise to chill out and learn things through the fun way.
That's the magic of it I guess - to grow adept progressively and unawaringly in the midst of enjoying one's self.
To embrace things with passion and interest rather than the empty desire to excel.

That's definitely something I have lost through the course of time.
But of course, whatever has been said applies only to certain stuff... such as uh, sports?
And well, limitations are ineluctable... lamentably.
