Been on something of a losing streak these days in DotA.
I would say that the new versions are getting more and more imbalanced...
Heroes like Geomancer and Bane Elemental are practically unstoppable when neglected for merely a brief while.
On another note, public players are getting more and more skilled.
Back then on Battlenet, it was SO darn rare to find anyone who could parallel our skill.
We had constant feeders like TBG and could still manage to emerge victorious at the end of the game.
Guess things aren't the same now, huh?
TBG has improved significantly and I would go as far as to say that he's good enough to whip up some novice's ass.
Then there are people like angelxxxx and doel89 who hasn't seemed to reveal the slightest tinge of improvement apparently, sad to say.
I don't really have anything against that (as long as they don't go "GG WE LOST" halfway through the game that is) - after all it's definitely much more fun to play with friends, even if it means losing.
I suppose the problem here would be the balance.
Even though the people (on a general level) we come across are good, they are still... manageable, in a way.
But the thing is that they are good enough such that a feeder or two in our team might cripple the success of the entire team.
Such is the standard of Garena players to this date.
As for myself... I don't seem to be getting any better after all these years.
I have probably arrived at the limitation of my skills -_-
